The latest edition of the Cadem Survey, corresponding to the third week of June, revealed that the approval of President Gabriel Boric continues to rise, reaching 36%. Specifically, the approval has been rising for 8 weeks.

This is its best result since October 26 of last year, when it registered 37%. On the other hand, disapproval reached 57%, dropping two points from the previous edition.

If compared with similar periods of other presidents, Boric exceeds the approval percentage that Michelle Bachelet and Sebastián Piñera had – at that time.

Cabinet evaluation

Regarding the opinion of the management of the ministerial cabinet, the best evaluated is Minister Jaime Pizarro (Sports) with 79% support.

They are followed by Carolina Arredondo (Cultures) with 63%; Jeannette Jara (Work) with 59%; Alberto Van Klaveren (Chancellery) with 57%; Mario Marcel (Treasury) with 57%); Álvaro Elizalde (Segpres) with 55%; Ximena Aguilera (Health) with 55%; Manuel Monsalve (Undersecretariat of the Interior) with 54%; Maya Fernández (Defense) with 50%; Carolina Tohá (Interior) with 48%; Camila Vallejo (Segegob) with 46%; Carlos Montes (Housing) with 45%; Nicolás Grau (Economy) with 43% and Nicolás Cataldo (Education) with 40%.

In particular, the approval of the government’s economic team, with ministers Marcel and Grau, improved, as it rose 10 points compared to April.
