The ninth date of the First “A” Ulises García 2024 Tournament was played. At the Ciudad de Concordia Stadium, the leader La Bianca tied 0 to 0 with Colegiales and now Libertad was second to two points after defeating Real 2 to 1 in the Miter Park. Defensores de Nebel beat Unión 7-0 on Saturday also at the “stadium.” In Justo Gamboa, Santa María de Oro and Victoria finished 0 to 0 while in Villa Adela, Alberdi scored and beat San Lorenzo 2 to 1. The date closed with a vibrant 2-2 draw between Comunicaciones and Ferro.
At the Ciudad stadium the leader La Bianca and Colegiales tied 0-0. The “tricolor” finished the match with one man less due to the expulsion of Jorge Alem. The “Pompeyan” after Thursday’s draw on Carriego Street returned to add one by one.
Those from the satellite city reached 20 points and the one that came closest was Libertad, who, playing as a visitor on their own field, beat Real Concordia 2 to 1. Marco Lorenzo tied for the “celeste” and finally Leonardo Panozzo scored the winning goal for the La Criolla team.
Sunday’s day closed with the entertaining tie between Communications and Railway. The “express” scored 1-0 through Leonel Schiebert. At the beginning of the second half, Jonathan Sánchez equalized for the “canary” and later, Gonzalo Sampietro made it 2 to 1 for the railroad team. In the last minute, the referee awarded a penalty for “comu” and Héctor David Sánchez converted the goal for the final 2 to 2.
