Delegates from Nariño and Cauca inspect tertiary road between Santa Bárbara de Iscuandé and Guapi

In a historic event for the Colombian Pacific, delegates from the departmental governments of Nariño and Cauca took a tour of the tertiary road that connects these two regions. The inspection focused on the road connection between Santa Bárbara de Iscuandé and Guapi, which will be subject to improvements and expansions. These works will allow the circulation of cargo vehicles and public transport.

The objective of these actions is to strengthen the economy and tourism between the two departments and with the rest of the country, promoting development and regional integration.

The designs and construction work are included in the resources that are part of the departmental development plans and a significant contribution from the municipal administration of Santa Bárbara de Iscuandé, in addition to having the support of the National Government and the commitment of the Governors of Nariño and Cauca, to make this dream a reality for Afro-descendant communities.
