Education definitively removes the professor from the IES Valle del Cidacos accused of humiliation

The Department of Education of the Government of La Rioja has made the decision to establish as a definitive measure the precautionary situation of the IES Valle del Cidacos teacher, who was removed from his job and transferred to Logroño, to the Department’s own offices where He has been working since the end of May.

The teacher, accused of harassing his students in the Higher Laboratory Degree training cycle during the 2023-2024 academic year, has an open file and was removed from the classrooms of the Calagurritano center to avoid contact with the students. He was in this provisional situation since May 28 as part of the process initiated by the Educational Inspection.

From Education they explain that the teacher is a civil servant and has not been fired, what has happened is that a precautionary situation becomes definitive. He continues as a public administration worker and as a civil servant can apply for other educational positions.
