In every celebration, achievement or goal reached, it is essential to have a toast. With the goal of filling the glass of every Sanjuanino, American Bar opened its second business location. This is located in the parking lot of Paseo Libertad, on Scalabrini Ortiz and Circunvalación Avenue, Capital.
This branch of the wine bar opened its doors last Friday, June 14, prior to the Father’s Day celebrations. DIARY HUARPE spoke with Luis Alessi, one of its owners, who provided details of this business: “American Bar is a family business that my sister Alejandra and I have. We have been working on everything related to wine bars after the pandemic. Before, we had a distributor and mobile bars.”

Regarding future plans, Alessi indicated: “The projection we have is, soon, to open more stores. Our idea is to polarize the entire Greater San Juan. “We are thinking about it as a franchise model to be able to expand.”
Its owner defines American Bar as a wine bar that is out of the traditional mold. In relation to this, he explained that “it is friendlier to the young man who comes and goes quickly because he does not feel like talking to anyone, but it is also friendly to the older man who is looking for an experience.”
“We are all young people who are betting on a future regardless of who is in power. We do things well, conscientiously, and we move forward,” said the owner.
Its owners try to constantly innovate and ensure that San Juan has a wine bar like those found in first world countries. “We spend all day thinking about what we can do to be better, without looking at the competition, looking at what is done in other countries and we seek to bring that to the province,” said Alessi at the end.

The work
The new American Bar location has 150 m² and has an industrial style, characteristic of the firm. The construction was carried out in record time, it took only 40 days and was carried out by Grupo Más.
Fact
American Bar has two branches. The first is located at 3,136 Libertador General San Martín Avenue West, while the second is located at Scalabrini Ortiz and Circunvalación Avenue. Both locations are open to the public from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Monday.
Different forms of payment such as cash, debit and credit cards are accepted at both branches. In addition, they have a promotion for lovers of good wine, which consists of a 50% discount on the second unit of wine.
