It is part of a series of activities with similar characteristics financed by the Regional Government of Aysén and that allow us to value the creation of our local entrepreneurs.

Puerto Aysén.- At the IND gym in Puerto Aysén, a large number of entrepreneurs from the commune gathered in the development of the “Farmer Fair and Indigenous Expo”, which, for two days, allowed them to learn about the most diverse crafts. , crafts, items produced with wool, typical foods, items and a natural medina, which also had folklore displays and live music.
The mayor, Julio Uribe, revealed the financing of this and other fairs that are part of a project of the Municipality of Aysén, which is executed with resources from the Regional Government and where the work carried out by the Community Development Directorate stands out.
“Congratulate the great work being carried out by our Community Development Directorate, where we are with this fair program that is financed by the Regional Government, there are more than 622 million pesos, which have been distributed throughout the year. In this way, we have held the Water Carnival, where we had more than 200 exhibitors, then the Non-Timber Forest Products Fair, we also had the Mother’s Day fair, now, this peasant fair, on the occasion of People’s Day “Original.”
Those who participated in this new alternative to show their products and interact with other entrepreneurs valued the space, realizing that they hope it will be repeated. “Wonderful, it is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to sell our products, especially in the winter season when it costs more. The ideal is that this type of activities continue to be carried out because it is beneficial for everyone, for Puerto Aysén, for entrepreneurs and to get out of the routine a little,” said Ángela Fernández.
Meanwhile, Claudia Ovando mentioned that, “I find that the initiative that the Municipality had with this is super good, I am super grateful for the opportunity that is given, because this way you can meet more people, new ties are created, you give yourself to know and then the good thing is that there is feedback and people still look for you at different fairs. So, maybe that’s what’s beautiful about this.”
The next Peasant Fair of the Municipality of Aysén will take place during the month of August and aims to bring together a large number of entrepreneurs, with the aim of being an instance that convenes the community to acquire and display the products local.
