Ibagué
The CESA College of Higher Studies announced the shortlist of finalists in the process of electing the executive president of the Ibagué Chamber of Commerce.
This process began on April 12 when a public call was opened where interested parties sent the required documentation to the educational institution who was in charge of validating requirements, verifying background information and carrying out a first filter to deliver a list of finalists to the Board of Directors of the Ibagué Chamber of Commerce.
Those selected were:
+ Alba Lucia García: Former executive director of Fenalco, former secretary of economic development of Ibagué under the administration of the local president, Andrés Fabián Hurtado.
+ Oscar German Diaz: Former executive director of Fenalco, former director of the Regional Guarantee Fund and recently manager of the Investment Promotion Agency. He is close to the former mayor of Ibagué, Jesús María Botero.
+Luisa Fernanda Melo: Former manager of the defunct airline Aires.
Now the board of directors of the Ibagué Chamber of Commerce will carry out a series of interviews and work tables with the candidates to gain an in-depth understanding of their strategic plan and their vision to execute to promote the business fabric of the city.
The main union entity in the city will complete six months headless after the departure last month of Brian Bulla Tovar, whom the board of directors asked to resign after having some clashes with some of its members. Currently he is an advisor to the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce.
It is estimated that in the third week the name of the new president will be known as property of the Ibagué Chamber of Commerce.
