There are only a few days left to witness the talent of this creator, who uses the San Agustín Popular Council of the Havana municipality of La Lisa as a reference in the exhibition, according to the cultural billboard La Papeleta.

As a kind of sociocultural anthropologist, but from the artistic platform, I investigate a universe of micro social subjects in the context of a peripheral, almost rural, neighborhood of Havana, commented Sola.

In his opinion, the project also responds to an interest in portraying and valuing alternative ways of life, lived with passion and with a certain dose of happiness, in a context marked by material deficiencies, but where communication links with others and with nature has great strength and value.

The book that gives the exhibition its title is an essential part of the visual proposal, a kind of intimate herbalist that revitalizes certain oral knowledge, threatened by some of the phagocytic forces of globalization, indicates the Fototeca de Cuba on its Instagram profile.

Global Brief Stories / Hybrid Objects / Microutopias is a multidisciplinary project carried out during two artistic residencies in 2019 and 2020 in San Agustín.

It integrates into its structure video-portraits, photographs, drawings and a testimonial work that also explores an intangible cultural heritage about ancestral knowledge linked to the forces of nature, highlights another publication on that social network.
