The implementation for the National Youth Games begins to reach the city of Manizales thanks to the management of the mayor, Jorge Eduardo Rojas Giraldo, before the Ministry of Sports. These tools will be installed in the Ramón Marín Vargas Menor Coliseum and the Bosque Popular el Prado sports complex.
“In general terms, it is an implementation that exceeds 300 million pesos and that today becomes a fundamental aspect for the development of our athletes and high-performance athletes. We hope that with this implementation we will reach more than 6 thousand athletes from the city of Manizales,” said the Secretary of Sports, Diego Espinosa Benjumea.

The sports equipment that will be installed are:
- Two karate tatami mats.
- Two taekwondo mats.
- A judo tatami.
- A wrestling mat.
- Electronic scoreboard for indoor soccer, futsal and basketball.
- Balloons for team sports.
- Table tennis tables.
- Lane separator for swimming and underwater activities
The delivery of these to the municipality will be made today, Tuesday, June 25, at 4:00 pm at the Ramón Marín Vargas minor coliseum and at 5:00 pm at the Bosque Popular el Prado sports complex.
