In a recent decision by the Mayor, Carlos Fernando Galán, he has appointed César Salamanca as the new Local Mayor of Suba. The election of Salamanca took place through the established process that ended with a series of interviews with the candidates for the position by locality.
César Augusto Salamanca is a well-known resident of the town of Suba and has an outstanding career in local politics. For two terms, he served as mayor of Suba, where he earned recognition for his work and commitment to the community. In addition, Salamanca was a candidate for the Bogotá Council for the New Liberalism list, whose flag has been the defense of children.
Salamanca is a business administrator, graduated from the National University, has a master’s degree in public administration from the ESAP Higher School of Public Administration, has a scholarship from the Alberto Lleras Camargo School of High Government and has a scholarship from the Governance and Public Management Program at the George Washington University in alliance with the Universidad del Rosario, former cadet of the Colombian Air Force and high school graduate of the National Pedagogical Institute, and will be the one who leads the leadership of town number 11 of Bogotá in the period 2024-2027.
