The San José Obrero Handball Club continues working to lay the foundations for next season and have everything tied up before the start of training in each of the categories. The club from the Titerroy neighborhood has closed the incorporation of Antonio González to the entity’s technical staff, and he will be the coach of the Territorial Men’s team for the 2024/2025 season.
Antonio González has been directing different teams in the CB Zonzamas youth categories in recent seasons. A coach who knows the Men’s Territorial perfectly, a category in which CB San José Obrero will compete again next season, and with the aim of making room for all the players who have been growing from the training categories.
The new coach of Territorial del San José Obrero points out that he faces this new stage “with the enthusiasm of someone starting a new project” and points out that “with the desire to contribute my grain of sand so that the club achieves the set objectives.” The coach believes that “nice things are coming for the season”, in addition to thanking the trust that the club’s sports management and board of directors have placed in him.
As for the objectives set, Antonio González explains that “at San José Obrero we must always aim for the maximum”, in a season in which we will continue “training the players to consolidate themselves in the territorial team and in which we will work to achieve the maximum”. He is cautious, and affirms that he is very “cholista”, so the message to his players is “to take it game by game”.
With the arrival of Antonio González to the Territorial Men’s bench, CB San José Obrero reaffirms its commitment to continue working with the youth team, and that the club’s young players have the opportunity to make the leap to the first team, as their teammates throughout the last few seasons, being an important part of the national team squad.
