Today, Tuesday, June 25, the Guarantee Court of Coyhaique left Daniela Alejandra Andrade Jaramillo subject to the precautionary measure of preventive detention, charged by the Public Ministry as the perpetrator of the completed crime of simple homicide, an illegal act perpetrated last Sunday in the city.

In the formalization hearing (case role 1,516-2024), Judge Mario Devaud Ojeda ordered the admission of Andrade Jaramillo to the Coyhaique Penitentiary Compliance Center because he considered that the freedom of the accused constitutes a danger to the security of society. In addition, he set the investigation period at 100 days.

According to the prosecuting entity, at approximately 8 a.m. on June 23, 2024, inside a building located on Manuel Salas Street in Coyhaique, a building where a social meeting was taking place, the accused stabbed her in the anterior hemithorax with a knife. left to the victim, Juan Mauricio Miranda Almonacid, causing his death due to hypovolemic shock resulting from a penetrating cardiac injury.
