On Saturday the 29th at 9pm, a concert will be held in the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. The presentation is organized by the Ministry of Culture of Entre Ríos and the Municipality of Concepción del Uruguay.

The Entre Ríos Symphony Orchestra

The Entre Ríos Symphony Orchestra (OSER) will travel to the city of Concepción del Uruguay to provide a concert open to the community, with free admission. The presentation will start on time and promises to be a great show. The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, located at Calle 3 de Febrero 41, will be the space in which the works Carnival Overture by Antonin Dvorak, Concerto for Horn and Orchestra No. 2 by Richard Strauss and Symphony No. 7 Op. 92 by LV Beethoven.

The concert will be conducted by the Symphony’s artistic director, Luis Gorelik, and will feature the participation of Scott Bohannon, a member of the provincial orchestra, as horn soloist. Gorelik, internationally recognized, is the visible face of the orchestra. The OSER is an organization dependent on the Secretariat of Culture of the province. The history of the orchestra began in 1948 and was the first to be created in the Litoral region. The Symphony is made up of more than 80 musicians and, with more than seven decades of operation, has acquired a prestigious place among the orchestral groups of the country and the region.
