On June 20, winter began and from that moment The cold took over Córdoba.
As predicted, there was a sharp drop in temperatures and the thermometer fell to -7ºC in some areas from the province.

Precisely, The ranking of records was headed by Salsacate, head of the Pocho department, and Villa de Soto (Cruz del Eje department) with -7.1ºC.
They were followed by a batch of localities with thermal marks between -6.9ºC and -5ºC distributed in the north and northwest of the province.

Also, mild to strong frosts were observed in San Juan, San Luis, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero Santa Fe and Entre Ríos.
