The man from Santander put on his training gear, adjusted his cap and launched into action. All members of the Unión Magdalena team began to feel the intensity of a preparation stage under the strict guidelines of the renowned and experienced coach.
“We started the preseason early because we have a clear objective, and to achieve it it is essential to work with discipline, enthusiasm and commitment,” Pinto expressed through his official account on the social network.
“This group, including the players who are yet to arrive, must understand that promotion is the only goal in this project,” added the coach.
Pinto has requested a series of reinforcements from Eduardo Dávila Armenta, the largest shareholder of Unión.
Fabián Cantillo, who recently terminated his loan with Junior due to a lack of opportunities to play, will remain in the Unión Magdalena squad.
On the other hand, Joel Contreras, a winger who had a discreet season while on loan at Alianza FC, was loaned to Once Caldas de Manizales for one year, with a purchase option.
