In Sagrada Familia, San José, is the Sagrada Familia Parish, a place that is not only a spiritual meeting point, but also a site of special devotion and historical significance.
The parish is guided by the charismatic and dedicated parish priest, Fabio Alberto Loáisiga Romero, who shared with us the spiritual and cultural wealth that this place houses. Among the most notable findings, it has five relics of saints first, second and third grade (review the full note in the attached video.).
One of these first-grade relics is a fragment of the finger of Blessed Sister María Romero, a figure revered for her example of religious and charitable life. In addition, there are second and third degree relics of Carlos Acutis, the young Italian beatified by Pope Francis, due to his dedication to the faith and his influence in the digital age.
For neighbors like Mario Calderón Vargas and Xinia Rojas Mora, Sagrada Familia is not only a spiritual reference point, but also an active and welcoming community center. They invite us to share breakfast with them, an initiative to repair the roof of the church, demonstrating how faith and solidarity are intertwined in the daily life of this community.
