In strategic alliance with the Colombian Football Federation and the District Institute of Recreation and Sports (IDRD) will open the doors of Simón Bolívar Park to the general public this Friday, June 28, 2024, to project the match between the Colombian National Team and Costa Rica on a giant screen.

The match, valid for the second date of the group stage of the Copa América 2024, will be projected on three giant screens in the park’s events plaza, where the FanZone organized jointly by the FCF and the IDRD will be located.

The doors of Simón Bolívar Park will open at 1:00 pm for the entry of the general public over 5 years of age. Access to the event will be free and those interested in attending must register at www.100fanaticos.co and obtain a free entry code to the park.

“The IDRD remains committed to sports and recreation in the parks and settings of Bogotá, offering a quality offer so that citizens can live a fun and unique experience with the football festival,” said Rodrigo Manrique, Deputy Technical Director of Parks.

The Colombian Football Federation and the IDRD are coming together to offer a great show at the Simón Bolívar Park with the FanZone, where former players of the Colombian National Team will be present to experience the match against Costa Rica, which will begin at 5:00 pm

“From the Technical Subdirectorate of Parks, we have strategic alliances that allow us to expand our recreational and sports offer, joining efforts with the private sector to generate these recreational spaces that promote healthy coexistence in iconic places such as the Simón Park event square. Bolívar,” added Rodrigo Manrique.

The park will be open from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm for attendees and will have a capacity of up to 25,000 people. In addition to the match between the Colombian National Team and Costa Rica, fans will be able to enjoy games and entertainment areas provided by the FCF and the IDRD.
