The Government of Río Negro convened the state unions UPCN and ATE for a new joint meeting, scheduled for This Thursday from 9 am at the headquarters of the Secretariat of Public Service, after the rejections of the two previous proposals known in the middle of this month.
In those first meetings, the unions received alternatives for June and July the payment of fixed sums of 50,000, 60,000 and 70,000 pesos according to the different categories, non-remunerative or non-rewardable; and then the laundering of 30,000 pesos from October last year, in two installments.
Both alternatives were rejected and motivated the unions’ request for the government to convene them again to continue the salary discussion.
The call did not include Unter and the teachers’ union reacted quickly questioning the actions of the provincial government.
Yesterday they expressed that “The government decided to continue discriminating against Unter and deepen the conflict.”
In the Regina Congress they had already anticipated that if there is no call for joint “The restart of classes after the break is at risk.”
