Specialists consider that the western semifinal of youth baseball between the representatives of groups A and B will be an early final since those from the capital and Cienfuegos arrive with eight victories and only one defeat.
Regarding the preparation of the province and the competition program for these three days of youth baseball in Cienfuegos, Emilio Chaviano Rajadel, commissioner of sports in Cienfuegos, specified that “in the province there is a complete decision to continue supporting baseball and the national commission requested to the province if the western semifinal could be held and we accepted and all the conditions have been created to hold the tournament, convinced that those two places that it grants for the national final will be highly contested.”
