Today, Thursday, June 27, the first annual exhibition of the work carried out by students who take part in the different workshops taught at the Open University of the Third Age will be held.

The exhibition will be held this Thursday in Plaza Güemes, on Leguizamón and Balcarce from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is a great opportunity to show what has been learned in this first semester.

The exhibition will present works carried out in the following spaces: leather workshops, cutting and sewing, weaving, embroidery, lingerie, painting on all surfaces, oil painting and watercolors, seamless patchwork, loom, felt, pointillism, capitoné, shoemaking light, express cooking, healthy cooking, cooking for celiacs.

In addition, students of rustic art, framing, French art, decorative art, all art, party favors, cold porcelain, soft doll making, jewelry, memory, Bible, chess, literary workshop and oral narration will also be present with their productions. Unate La Caldera workshops will also be present.

The Open University for the Elderly is a department that depends on the Secretariat for the Elderly and offers more than 80 courses. Since this year, there are new spaces for classes since the Provincial Government carried out renovation works, including the construction of two classrooms.
