Next Sunday, July 7 at 8:30 p.m., the Sarmiento Theater will be the stage for “Tertawa, Delivery de Humor”, with a performance by Sebastián Almada, Pachu Peña and José María Listorti. Tickets are now available at EntradaWeb.com.

To understand this proposal in depth, HUARPE DIARY He spoke with Sebastián Almada and this is what he said.

You can’t make jokes with anything

“Tertawa” is a show where laughter, impulsive and uncontrollable laughter, is celebrated. From the moment they appear on stage something goes wrong and the show begins. This is how this proposal begins, which, according to what Almada says, starts from the question: can’t you make humor out of anything?

Under scrutiny and cancellation, comedians take this and demonstrate the limits of humor. In the show they play it safe and also take the situation to make people laugh: remote work, online relationships, even artificial intelligence are mixed in the proposal. All this in a minimalist setting, there are the three of them: Sebastián, “Pachu” and Listorti, in a minimal set, but with a script that does not allow you to stop laughing from minute one.

“Humor has been central to my career, in addition to music. I come from a family of comedians so it’s something that comes with me. Now, if you feel how great you feel when you make a friend laugh, imagine 20, 100, 400 strangers,” Almada commented.

Communion of laughter

If there was one thing the trio knew how to do, it was to understand the key to the humor of their time. In the ’90s the ostentation and travel, the 2000s the absurdity and now they are betting on a more controlled proposal, a stage decision.

This is how in the theater, without so much adornment, they display more than an hour and a half of laughter. An hour and a half without cell phones, without interruptions, an hour to suspend the rules of routine. “We ask that cell phones not be taken out, at least until the end of the greeting, it is a time to celebrate, not to watch behind a screen,” she concluded.

After a successful tour in 2023 through several Latin American countries, Listorti, Peña and Almada began the tour in 2024. The tour began in June and will travel through Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay and Argentina, including a visit to San Juan, and they will settle in the Paseo la Plaza on Thursdays, culminating in October with presentations in the state of Florida, United States.
