alerted the authorities about the macabre discovery of four lifeless bodies in a trail known as 1 de Mayo, that connects the municipality of Villa del Rosario with Los Patios, located in the metropolitan area of the capital of Norte de Santander, close to the border with Venezuela.

The commander of the Metropolitan Police of the city of Cúcuta, Colonel William Quintero, assured journalists that they were alerted in the early morning about the discovery of four bodies in a trail known as ‘May Day’.
“At 5:30 units moved to this place and managed to verify “There were indeed four bodies on the side of the road,” the officer added.
Until now, Colonel Quintero assured that the only thing that the authorities have been able to determine “is that that was not the place of the events,” for the corpses “were thrown, one body is on top of another.”
“We are trying to establish where the vehicle that dumped them there entered, there are some marks from a truck. The idea is to begin intelligence and judicial police work to determine who was the one who threw these bodies here,” explained the commander of the Cúcuta Police and added that these people were “murdered by firearm projectiles.”
