The San José Municipality will offer various activities during the July holidays.
The Socio-Environmental Education Center of Parque Rodó in the city of San José de Mayo will offer the following free workshops:
-Wednesday the 3rd and Friday the 5th, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. “Looking for natural treasures”, for boys and girls ages 5 and up. Pre-registration at 098 178 909 (limited spaces).
-Sunday 7th, at 10:30 am. Talk and concert of Tibetan bowls, for young people and adults. Information: 098 178 909.
The free pedal boat and bicycle service, located in Parque Rodó, will operate every day from Friday, June 28 to Sunday, July 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Parque Rodó virtual zoo will be open from Tuesday the 2nd to Sunday the 7th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Likewise, there will be a kermesse with different classic game stations, an art and music space on Thursday the 4th in the Picada de las Tunas neighborhood, on Friday the 5th in Mondex and on Saturday the 6th in the Berral neighborhood (details to be confirmed).
Meanwhile, on Sunday 7th, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the former AFE station, a free-access recreational activity will be held to bid farewell to the holidays with games and children’s shows.
The San José Departmental Library, located at Treinta y Tres 739 in San José de Mayo, will operate with its usual hours: Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.: 00 hours.
In addition, a space will be set up with new books on various topics, to enjoy with the family.
During the holidays, the football, rugby and volleyball sports schools will operate at their usual hours.
