Thirteen public transport entrepreneurs from the Aysén region were the beneficiaries this year of the Renew your bus and Micro Program, which is designed jointly between the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Regional Government of Aysén.
For this process, the Regional Government injected an amount of $80 million, money that was well received by the beneficiaries.

On this occasion, 11 new vehicles were integrated as collective taxis and two rural buses, also new, that will provide services in both Coyhaique and Puerto Aysén; process that was highlighted by the MTT and the Regional Government.

The entry of new machinery into the paid passenger transportation fleet is possible thanks to the Transantiago Mirror Law, a work that, according to regional senator Ximena Órdenes, is in the process of being reviewed to be improved.

It should be noted that in the Aysén region the program dates back to 2012, beginning with the renewal of buses, expanding in 2015 to buses, and that to date it has enabled 240 transporters in the region to renew their fleet thanks to a investment of $750 million.
