Critical situation of roads in Antioquia, four national highways were closed due to inclement weather. Transporters are concerned about the economic and logistical consequences of the rains.
This municipality in the Southwest has been one of the most affected by the heavy rainfall, which in addition to affecting the population, caused havoc on the road. As in the case of Venice, there are three national connection roads that report closures due to natural phenomena associated with rain.
The closures on the Medellín-Urabá highway, the trunk to the Atlantic Coast and the Medellín-Quibdó highway, bring harm to passengers, commerce and cargo transportation.
On the Medellín-Quibdó road axis there is a transition to one lane and restrictions for cargo vehicles. While on the road to the Atlantic Coast there is a landslide that has restricted passage, alternative routes are the Barbosa-Puerto Berrío and Donmatías-Entrerríos roads.
