The First Inter-School Meeting in Open Schools will cover a wide range of competitions in different disciplines, with sports activities being a highlight. This event, organized by the Undersecretariat of Socio-Educational Policies of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, will be held internally in each school institution as well as in schools grouped by zones and proximity.
By bringing together so many participants, the meeting will allow all students to interact among peers from other schools and localities and stand out in the disciplines in which they best acquired the skills.
The organization of this inter-school meeting, by the Provincial Programs of School Sports and Open Schools, will allow students to learn about new challenges and acquire new opportunities, which will allow them to build confidence to solve problematic situations in everyday life.
The sports and recreation workshops that are offered on Saturdays in Open Schools through the School Sports program, have the modality of teaching unconventional sports, alternative games, team games and traditional games. With these diversities of options, the aim is to improve and expand the motor development of each student.
