Among those recognized with the “Rafael María de Mendive” distinction for more than 20 years of work in the sector was the Athletics coach Bárbara Milagros Fernández who was represented by her son Yan Luis Argudin.

Clara Geyli Jiménez was the only one to receive the “Juan Tomas Roig Mesa” distinction. Likewise, Alina Expósito Claro, aged 80, declared the importance of receiving the Seal of the 60th edition of the National School Sports Games.

The event was chaired by Osnery Martínez, official of the Provincial Bureau of the Party; Yudit Hernandez Carrazana, coordinator of programs and objectives of the provincial government, as well as Mariela Fonseca Yanes, provincial director of Sports.

Members of mass and political organizations and the INDER board of directors also attended.
