Twelve months later, This figure has increased by more than 50%placing us in more than fifty-five companies that trust ASFACO,” he said.

He also made an emotional recognition to three historical entities in the association: Enresa, Ecmasa and Hitachi of technological production. With the incorporation of new companies, ASFACO now represents a group that contributes more than 15% of the province’s GDPl, generating employment for more than 6,000 professionals directly and indirectly. Tamarit highlighted the intense activity of the association in the last twelve months, organizing more than 25 own activities and participating in more than 120 eventsbringing the voice of the entrepreneur to various public and private platforms.

Complaints to the Administrations

In his speech, Tamarit urged the administrations to focus their efforts on business financing. “It is necessary for the ICO to focus its efforts on recovery funds to allow our companies to obtain more financial resources, which are not arriving as they should due to high costs and greater demands,” he said. He also requested the involvement of the Trade Agency with complementary instruments and the development of “Public Industrial Spaces” to facilitate the installation of new companies.

Furthermore, Tamarit highlighted the need to reduce the tax burden for companies and to grant Social Security bonuses to those that maintain at least five employees for twelve continuous months. He also advocated for the implementation of educational policies that better prepare professionals, highlighting that more than 65% of the unemployed have an educational level lower than high school.

Access to Housing

Finally, Tamarit addressed the difficult housing access situation, especially for young people. He proposed that measures be taken similar to those adopted by the Generalitat Valenciana, which guarantees up to 95% of the purchase of the first home for people between 18 and 45 years old, an initiative that could benefit many families in Córdoba. In short, the creation of these working committees and the proposals presented by Tamarit reflect ASFACO’s commitment to the economic and social development of Cordobapositioning the association as a fundamental pillar for the advancement of companies in the region.
