A 13-year-old student stabbed a classmate at a school in Córdoba

In the midst of a fight inside a secondary school in Córdoba, a student stabbed a classmate and both had to be transferred to different hospitals in the area.

The violent episode occurred this Thursday at the IPET 56 Abraham Juárez school in the town of Villa María. According to information provided by the officers who worked at the scene, it all started with an argument between the students.

According to local media Villa María Vivo, the conflict occurred in the lobby of the establishment. They also said that the attacker was 13 years old and the attacked teenager 14.

After the brutal fight, the authorities called 911 and two patrol cars approached the scene. After controlling the situation, one of the students was transferred to the Pasteur Regional Hospital, while the other had to be referred to the Public Assistance health center.

“One of them has a superficial cut on his back and another has injuries from the blows during the fight,” the officers said, although they clarified that none of them had serious injuries.

For the moment, the case has been handed over to the Juvenile Court. In the last few hours, it was also reported that the institution had previously demanded greater security due to the recurrent episodes of violence at the school.
