So far, four dangerous criminals with criminal records have been arrested during the early hours of Friday morning after numerous raids carried out by the Police in the province.

According to police sources, this mega-gang, formed by people from Tucumán, operated in the province of Córdoba with robberies in the form of breaking windows and leaks. After an investigation carried out by the Justice and Police of that province, they determined that the perpetrators of these recurring events were natives of Tucumán. From there, they worked jointly with the Ministry of Security led by Dr. Eugenio Agüero Gamboa, the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPF) and the provincial Police.

The ministers of both Security portfolios of each province were present in this important operation: Agüero Gamboa and Córdoba, Juan Pablo Quinteros, Chief of Police of that province, Héctor Leonardo Gutiérrez; chief and deputy chief of the Tucumán Police, Joaquín Girvau and Roque Yñigo, respectively, and representatives of the MPF.

In this regard, the Chief of Police noted: “There are 46 raids in the province, this investigation was initiated by the Judicial Police of Córdoba together with the Ministry of Security of that province. The Police requested collaboration here from the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPF), the Police and the Ministry of Security. The Minister of Security and the Chief of Police of the province of Córdoba arrived yesterday,” he said.

In this context, he said: “Our force deployed 800 police officers and a large number of vehicles for these measures that so far have been positive, we have people arrested with criminal records, they are known criminals who committed several robberies in the province of Córdoba, vehicle hijackings, who have already been placed at the disposal of Justice, we thank Dr. Ballesteros who gave rise to the raids, we continue working and we will have more results,” said Girvau.

In this sense, the driver of the Tucumán force emphasized: “We want these criminals to end up in prison, they went to Córdoba to steal, the police there investigated them and the Tucumán Police arrested them.”

The raids were mostly recorded in San Miguel de Tucumán and others in the southern part of the province, all of them simultaneously, “In Córdoba, raids are also being carried out since we are dealing with an important gang of criminals,” added the chief. police.
