Thousands of views and dozens of comments generated a recent video published by a Venezuelan citizen resident in Chile.
With sad music, the subject accompanied a brief record that shows the cleaning of the Central Station, marked by the presence of Carabineros and the total absence of street merchants.
“This is how Central Station remained, clean, without Haitians, without Venezuelans. You can’t walk calmly. What do Chileans say about this?”the subject asked.
“Everything was clean as the Chileans wanted. Now without a job”he complained in the viral video, implying (with the emoji of an airplane and the Venezuelan flag) that he would be thinking of returning to his country.
Reactions
As expected, the comments (mainly from Chileans) multiplied.
“As a civilized country should be”, “As it always was and we like it”, “We tell them that this is how we like to live in peace, tranquility and clean roads, we hate the shouting, the fights and the insecurity that occurs in the agglomerations of illegal trade” and “It looks very clean and without fritangueras that stays that way”were some of the reactions.
