Several Cubans on social media reported that a young man was found dead in the Nipe canal, in the province of Holguín, something that has caused consternation among his family and loved ones.
At the moment, the little information circulating online does not give details about his death, limiting itself to saying that the young man, identified only as Alejandro, would have drowned in the body of water.
“He was found drowned in the Nipe canal,” said Internet user Mariolkis Gómez on her Facebook profile, adding that the young man’s body could not be laid to rest because it was found in an advanced state of decomposition.
“Oh, Malejo, as the neighborhood boys told you, we are all sad, we are sorry for your loss. Such a good boy you are Alejandro. EPD Alejandro, God bless you, lifelong friend,” he indicated in another publication.
Among the comments, several users dedicated themselves to sending condolences to the mother and sister of the deceased, identified as Rufina and Kariuska Argota, respectively. Likewise, they affirmed that Malejo, as Alejandro was known by his friends, was a happy person and loved by those who were lucky enough to cross his path.
The young man’s death seems to have been related to alcohol consumption, as his sister published a message for those who drink frequently.
“Those young boys who are dedicated to drinking, please take the advice of their family and friends (…) My brother, such a good person, now we are suffering,” said Argota without giving more details about it.
Finally, the young woman thanked the support shown by her entire neighborhood, stating that her neighbors will always have her brother in mind.
This is not the first time that such an incident has occurred in the province of Holguín, since in the middle of last year, a young man of only 19 years old fFound lifeless in Estero de la Esperanza, in the municipality of Frank País.
The information that circulated on social networks on that occasion indicated that the young man was identified as Leonel de Jesús Domínguez Mora, who had been summoned to be a witness at a trial, which seems to have affected his behavior.
After the changes began, the young man’s father took him to the hospital, where he suffered a violent attack and ran away from the place. His father managed to find him on that occasion, but the young man escaped from home shortly after, being found dead in the body of water.
