The governor of Guaviare, Yeison Rojas, referred to this work in Marandua Noticias and said that this is due to the efforts made with the National Federation of Departments (FND) to obtain aid for families affected by the floods caused by the winter storm.
The departmental leader says that the situations have been complex, especially in sectors such as Cámbulos, El Limón and El Edén. He says that the situation is difficult for some families, especially those who have nowhere to go and must endure the duration of the flood.
He stated that among his plans he will be planning to request this aid in a timely manner to be prepared to deal with these situations. He noted that around 800 aid to the same number of families has already been delivered and in the coming days aid will be delivered to those affected by this phenomenon in the Puerto Arturo sector and this entire riverside area of the Guaviare and Guayabero Rivers.
Governor Yeison Rojas spoke about the financial status of San José Hospital and said that the performance has been positive, therefore, through the administration that this entity has had in recent years, it has generated these results. He said that thanks to this good management it was possible to appoint a staff of 8 appointed nurses and 150 nursing assistants were hired and he highlighted the work that these people do for the community.
Among the benefits that this staff will receive will be the exemption from paying the stamp duty, which is 10% for health workers, and with this they will benefit, and an additional increase in the salary of nurses of 150,000 and 100,000 for assistants.
In other information, he also referred to the progress in the organization of the XXX Yuruparì International Gold Festival 2024, referring to the artists, he spoke of guests such as Orlando el Cholo Valderrama, Niko Hernández, Caliber 50 among others. He also mentioned that there will be a contest with local artists every night with the presentation of 3, which in total will be 9 participants. He also highlighted that the Festival will have as an attraction the parade within which there will be raffles including a raffle for a motorcycle. The Yuruparí venue has been said to be the Yaquiraná Stadium, for which discussions have already been held with Mayor Willy Rodríguez.
He announced that the first council of the FND will be held within the framework of the festival with the presence of governors and other personalities of the country.
