National Roads issued an updated report on the status of the routes in the province of Chubut, highlighting that all the main roads are enabled, but present conditions that require traveling with caution.
In the National Route 3, the section between Arroyo Verde and Comodoro Rivadavia shows wet roads and in some sectors with ice and mud. Extreme caution is recommended due to the presence of loose animals, wind and frost. Special attention is required in the Garayalde – Comodoro Rivadavia section, where ice and snow conditions have been reported, with Road Traffic teams working on site.
The National Route 25 The road between Rawson and Tecka also has wet roads with areas of ice and frost, and muddy shoulders. Road crews are actively distributing salt to improve safety. The presence of fog and strong frost is noted in some sections, recommending drivers to drive with extreme caution.
In the National Route 26, the Comodoro Rivadavia – Sarmiento section and until the junction with RN 40, the road is wet with sectors of frost and mud. Road crews are distributing salt, and drivers are advised to be alert for adverse weather conditions.
Finally, in the National Route 40, which runs from the border with Santa Cruz to the access to Cholila, ice and snow conditions are reported on the road and shoulders. National Roads is carrying out maintenance and salt distribution tasks. Drivers are advised to use extreme caution due to slippery conditions and the presence of loose animals.
The National Road authorities insist on the need to respect traffic signs, maintain a moderate speed and be attentive to road conditions to avoid accidents and guarantee a safe trip.
