Salomón Fernández Torres, known as alias Salomón, will be brought before a judge in Bogotá, after being captured by the authorities due to his involvement in several crimes associated with the criminal gang El Tren de Aragua, one of the most notorious transnational criminal groups for its high level of danger, which operates in both Colombia and Venezuela.

Solomon He is considered one of the most violent leaders of the group.exercising its criminal power in several areas of Bogotá and Soacha.

According to court documents obtained by Caracol Radio, alias Niño Guerrero, the top leader of the criminal organization, appointed him in 2019 as responsible for illegal finances in those areas.

The authorities link him to four recent homicides, whose bodies were dismembered and abandoned in bags in different parts of Bogotá.

These events, which took place last April, consolidated his reputation as one of the most feared criminals. He is also accused of crimes of forced displacement, drug trafficking, robbery and extortion.

Salomon has a criminal record dating back to 2013, when he was arrested by Venezuelan security forces. On that occasion, he was captured for concealing weapons, homicide and drug trafficking, being confined in the Tocorón prison, where he established a relationship with leaders of ‘El Tren de Aragua’.

After leaving prison, in 2016 he was arrested for the second time in Venezuela for possession of a stolen AT4 rocket launcher. However, he regained his freedom and moved to Colombia in 2018, where he assumed control of microtrafficking in several locations in Bogotá.

The organizational chart of the Aragua Train places Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, alias Niño Guerrero, as the top leader, followed by other leaders and, in third line, Salomón appears.who manages two important blocks of the organization: one dedicated to the storage of weapons and narcotics, and another to extortion.
