A new incident with a fatal victim was reported a few minutes ago in the Alfonso López neighborhood of the municipality of Fundación, Magdalena.
The victim, a 58-year-old man identified as Juan Carlos Flórez, lost his life in the middle of the street after being shot several times by unknown individuals, who surprised him while he was resting under a tree.
Witnesses say that the man who was killed was sitting on the terrace of a house when he was approached by men on a motorcycle, who fired several projectiles with a firearm, ending Juan Carlos’s life.
The crime scene was cordoned off by police personnel who were alerted to the criminal incursion, while investigators carried out urgent actions and the removal of the
corpse for transfer to the local morgue.
Regarding the investigation of this case, the Police have reported that officials have already been assigned to investigate the circumstances surrounding this murder, determine the motives and effectively capture those responsible, whom, apparently, they have already identified.
