Accompaniment in different parts of the province – Ministry of Education

The team from the Secretariat of Educational Management visited different schools during the Third Institutional Day, within the framework of the Provincial Literacy Plan.

The Secretary of Educational Management, Federico Medrano, led the delegation with the purpose of supporting educational activities focused on improving the literacy levels of students and ensuring the effective implementation of the PPA in all educational institutions in the province, Formative Evaluation, such as Likewise, in secondary schools, the Evaluation of Curriculum Design.

Likewise, directors of educational levels and coordinators of modalities were in other establishments, both in San Salvador de Jujuy and in the interior of the province.

“When you go out into the territory and find the teachers working, planning, dreaming for the future of their students, you feel that, seen from the soul,” Medrano highlighted.

“I take the words from the song Miradas que cuidadon,” said Merardo Monné, coordinator of the Bilingual Intercultural Modality after visiting the institutional day in schools located in Posta de Hornillos and Huacalera.

Sergio Sajama, director of Secondary Education, who was at Commercial N°7 in San Pedro, at Secondary N°41 in Santo Domingo and Agrotécnica in El Brete, commented that the teachers analyzed and reflected on their practices. “I introduced myself, I spoke with them and they thanked the Ministry for its presence in these instances.”

Gabriel Ruiz, coordinator of the Artistic Modality, accompanied teachers of the free art and crafts workshops at the Purmamarca headquarters. “We appreciate the support of the Artistic Modality, to see and modify aspects of the evaluation.”

In El Carmen and Monterrico, a delegation made up of the Director of Initial Level, Carolina Lui Saravia and the Coordinator of Modalities, Carolina Contreras, together with a technical team, visited institutional meetings. “It was a space that allowed them to reflect on the evaluation processes they are implementing. The commitment of both teachers and directors was evident in the implementation of the PAI (Institutional Literacy Project) and the PPA (Provincial Literacy Plan).

Sonia Prolongo, from the Youth and Adult Modality, highlighted the “commitment of teachers in their work environments. The institutional actors involved carry out in-depth work in relation to connecting with students, promoting the required containment.”

From the Education Modality in the Context of Confinement, Carla Torcoletti, highlighted the participation of teachers in the meeting held in the Distance Baccalaureate. “A lot of interest in the topic of formative evaluation,” she said, while she thanked the supervisor for her presence.

The Director of Primary Education, Miguel Ángel Peñaloza, pointed out the coordinated work between the Initial and Primary Levels. He also praised the support of the Ministry’s management teams during the Institutional Day.

For her part, the coordinator of the Home Hospital modality, Mercedes Martínez, recounted her participation in the day: “I am at School No. 8 “Escolástico Zegada” in the Coronel Arias neighborhood where I appreciate a pleasant atmosphere and teamwork and coordination between areas. They emphasize the importance of teaching knowledge contextualized to the realities and interests of the students, as well as evaluating every activity that the student performs.”
