Nairo Quintana has shared various spaces with the community and with the authorities of the department.
Quindío is becoming an important territory for this type of sporting event, added to the boom that is being generated by running races.
Zero hour has arrived for the Great Nairo Fund, which will take place this weekend in Quindío. More than 5,000 people have registered and the authorities already have the contingency plan ready for the six municipalities that will host the activity on Sunday.
Nairo Quintana has shared various spaces with the community and with the authorities from the Department. He has learned about ventures and projects, enjoyed excellent cups of coffee and invited the entire population to participate in this recreational and sporting event.
“I have visited the parks, some businesses, some very nice consolidated companies, fighters with a lot of creativity, important businessmen and this fills one with pride as a Colombian,” said Nairo Quintana.

The cyclist stated that “the doors are open to everyone in the Soledén park in Comfenalco, We will start with a big trade fairtalks and on Sunday the big ride throughout the department.”
The governor of Quindío, Juan Miguel Galvis Bedoya, within the framework of the different activities, declared Nairo Quintana ambassador of the Coffee Cultural Landscapefor what it has meant for the country and its sporting achievements.

Road contingency
The main event will be the Sunday, June 30 and a Unified Command Post will be set up in Soledén Park at 4 a.m.
The first closure will be at the roundabout next to the Country Club between 5:30 am and 8:00 am Likewise, the same measure will be applied between 8:00 am and 11:00 am on the road in the La Virgen sector, the exit to Pueblo Tapao through La Tebaida and the Club Campestre roundabout.
The closure on the Coffee Highway It will be from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, between the Cruces sector and the first entrance to Circasia, in the Pereira – Armenia direction. The passage between Circasia and Montenegro will be prevented between 8:30 am and 10:30 am

Between the township of Pueblo Tapao and Montenegro there will be a closure from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and the road that connects Montenegro and Quimbaya will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
In Armenia, the closures will be 4:30 am to 9:00 am and will be carried out in the following sections:
– Country Club – El Caimo – La Mia Pump – San Pedro Police Station
– Jardines de Armenia road corridor to the Tres Esquinas roundabout
– La Arcadia roundabout with road to Los Naranjos
– 50th Street towards Puerto Espejo and Pueblo Tapao
