CaliBunga water park delays its opening in San José – Telemundo Bay Area 48

CaliBunga water park, formerly known as Raging Waters, located in San Jose announced on Friday that it will delay its opening date due to electrical problems in some of its attractions.

Mell Selles, the park manager, confirmed via social media that the new opening date will be Thursday, July 4.

“Unfortunately, yesterday afternoon we had some unexpected issues with some electrical issues. This resulted in several of our attractions being unable to open this weekend.”

Selles reported that they are working 24 hours a day to resolve the problems and thus be ready for the opening of the park.

“We apologize for the unforeseen circumstances that have caused us to not be able to open on time and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation,” he said. “It’s not the news you wanted to hear or want to share today, but we wanted to let you know as soon as possible.”

Likewise, he reported that people who purchased tickets to go to the park between July 29 and July 3 will receive an email with information regarding refunds and scheduled events for those days.

“We look forward to welcoming guests back to the park on Thursday when we can provide a safe and quality experience,” Sells said.
