A man died on Friday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle when he tried to cross the road on foot South Accessat the height of Guaymallén. Apparently it would be a homeless person, according to information provided by personnel from the municipality of that department.
The victim would live with his partner in the vicinity and on several occasions the municipality offered them to go to a home, said Channel 7 journalist Julián Chabert from the scene of the incident. Both were from Santa Rosa and now the woman is completely helpless, so she asked her family to come and look for her.
Police sources detailed that the road incident occurred on that artery at the height of the bridge that crosses Lamadrid streetin the Dorrego area.

The first information points to the fact that The victim tried to cross the South Access on the asphalt from the West to the East bank when he was violently hit by a Toyota Hilux truck that was traveling from South to North.
The driver was given an alcohol test -with address in San Carlos- and the result was negative, according to the police report. A VW Gol car was also involved in the incident.
Police personnel worked at the scene of the road accident and an investigation was opened by the Traffic Fiscal Unit.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been revealed. who was assisted by doctor Estefanía Ginares of the Coordinated Emergency Service (SEC). The professional confirmed his death.
Traffic was diverted to the side of the South Access while road authorities and members of the Scientific Police worked.
