  • Cali – Candelaria (via Juanchito) – Palmira.
  • Cali – Cencar – Cantarrana Intersection – El Cerrito – Buga.

“Dear user, please plan your trip during the first week of July, as there will be road closures due to the installation of a billboard at the Istanbul toll booth. We are sharing with you the dates, times and suggested alternative routes,” posted the Rutas del Valle concession via Instagram.

Other roads in the country have had changes due to the risk on some of them due to the heavy rains of the last few days, and even due to alterations in the road network.

In that sense, the National Highway Institute (Invías) reported that the Transversal del Cusiana, a route that connects the departments of Boyacá and Casanare, will be permanently closed after detecting considerable risks on the ground. The decision comes after several inspections that revealed landslides and anomalies that compromise the safety of the road and nearby structures.

The closure directly affects the corridor between Sogamoso (Boyacá) and Aguazul (Casanare), prohibiting the passage of all types of vehicles. According to statements by Juan Carlos Montenegro, director of Invías, this decision was taken to avoid any risk to communities and users: “Our duty is to preserve the lives of Colombians, which is why we made the decision to close this road, including pedestrians and motorcycles,” said Montenegro.

The entity added that the Los Grillos viaduct, along with the Puente Nuevo and Chorro Blanco, presented cracks and serious structural failures. Furthermore, he pointed out that the mass movement in the area cannot be stopped, making any intervention that guarantees security in the affected area unfeasible.

For users of this road, Invías recommended two alternative routes: Bogotá – Villavicencio – Yopal for all types of vehicles and Sogamoso – Belén – Socha – Sácama – La Cabuya – Aguazul for vehicles weighing less than 25 tons. These alternatives seek to keep both departments connected while long-term solutions are evaluated.

Users can obtain real-time information on the state of the roads through the toll-free number #767, the WhatsApp channel (+57) 17426767, or by visiting the official Invías website, which offers a constantly updated map.
