During the ordinary session of the capital City Council, held this Friday, the reinstatement of the mayor on leave was announced Enrique Galindo Ceballos to his duties as municipal president, starting next Monday, July 1st.
The interim mayor, Daniela Cid Gonzálezappreciated the trust, respect and political stature that the capital’s Cabildo has shown, as he stated that each member who integrates it from their own trench is always looking for a way to do good for Potosí society.
“Mayor Enrique Galindo will rejoin next Monday, as already announced, and I will gladly continue serving the citizens, through the eighth mayorship in the Government and Culture, Recreation, Sports and Youth Commissions of which I am a part, during the remaining months of this administration. Starting on October 1, we will talk with the mayor to see from what position we can support,” he said.

Likewise, he mentioned that during the two months he was in charge of the municipal presidency there were important challenges, mainly leading the City Council. maintaining institutionality, and taking care of electoral times.
In that sense, he affirmed that good accounts are delivered and that it was guaranteed the rule of law and governance from the municipality of San Luis Potosí.
“These months were important challenges because they were election times, the main one was maintaining the institutionality of the administration. “I think that good accounts are given, that the administration was focused on the work of maintaining public services, in the way to which citizens are accustomed, with constant attention and responding directly to the people,” he added.
