Perfect score in Copa America groups? Colombia has already achieved it

Néstor Lorenzo’s team has won six out of six in Group D and is exciting.

Colombia managed to qualify early for the quarterfinals of the Copa América 2024, thanks to the important victory against Costa Rica 3-0 on the second date of group D, a result that leaves it with a perfect score and with the latent hope of achieving other three units against Brazil.

The team led by coach Néstor Lorenzo does not stop generating enthusiasm in the fans and the dream of being champions seems to be a dream that is getting closer and closer to a happy ending, although the direct elimination phase is still missing, which is the most complicated.

In total, Colombia has achieved five matches with all points won in the group stage, being in 1975, 1987, 1999, 2001 and 2019, so in this edition it could become the sixth time that it achieves that good result in that round of Copa América.
