In order to guarantee the safety of travelers traveling on the roads of Valle del Cauca, the departmental government has once again activated the “safe corridors” for this San Pedro and San Pablo holiday weekend.

Likewise, the Valle Mobility Secretariat announced that it will accompany drivers on their trips around the department during this long weekend.

For this festive long weekend, it is estimated that more than 100 thousand vehicles will circulate through the department.

Deployment

That is why the Government of Valle del Cauca will have a wide operational deployment with more than 100 agents and traffic regulators who will accompany the mobility of locals and tourists over the weekend.

The Valle Mobility Secretariat, with the Safe Corridors and Let’s Save Lives on the Roads campaigns, following guidelines from the National Road Safety Agency, seeks to prevent road accidents by supporting mobility with regulation, control and education in the corridors served by the traffic authorities.

In this sense, the Secretary of Mobility of the Valley, Diego Murillo Riascos stated that “the Government of the Valley, through the Ministry of Mobility, is preparing to be present throughout the department with our body of agents and regulators, providing security to all the people who move on our roads.”

The official indicated that during these days “our campaign of safe corridors and saving lives on the roads will be present to guarantee the mobility of all Valle del Cauca.”
