The “Quijano Festival, Living the Centenary” is in full organization and expectations are enormous in Campo Quijano. The event commemorating the birthday of this community, which is on July 9, aims to highlight culture and praise local talents, in addition to having the participation of nationally recognized artists.

The festival, which will take place on July 8 at the Club Atlético Boroquimica, promises a diverse billboard with artists such as Sergio Galleguillos, Lázaro Caballero, Alma Capera, Chirete, David Leiva, Juan Taiba, Juan Gonzalo Farfan, Luna Roja and Juan Fernandez. Furthermore, to attract young audiences, the presence of the nationally and internationally recognized artist, Emanero, has been confirmed.

It will be held on the Boroquimica Club court, with a capacity to comfortably accommodate 10,000 people, where strict security and logistical measures are being worked on to ensure that the event goes off without a hitch. Tickets are now available on the PaseShow website and can also be purchased physically in the municipality of Quijano and other points in the Lerma Valley and Salta capital.

As explained by Adrián Albornoz, Secretary of Government of Campo Quijano, “intense work is being done on planning to comply with all the security requirements demanded by local authorities, including the approval of evacuation plans by COPIAPA and other competent organizations. “.

It turns out that with the corresponding authorization the club will have this permanent permit, which will be a reward for the institution, as an ideal venue for holding other types of events with massive attendance.

“The festival is not only intended to be a moment of cultural celebration, but also an opportunity to generate a positive economic impact and promote tourism in the region. Visitors from all over the province are expected to arrive. This is the reason why we started working with Quijano’s accommodation capacity, the gastronomic establishments and everything related to tourism promotion,” said Albornoz.

Throughout the week leading up to the festival, Campo Quijano will be packed with cultural, sporting and artistic activities. Another notable event will be the presence and participation of Ariel “Burrito” Ortega on the 6th, promoting both sport and culture in the Lerma Valley region.

“Regarding the call for artisans, we continue to receive proposals. It is important to mention that, following food science recommendations, vendors will be asked to comply with the food code, thus guaranteeing the safety of all attendees with adequate facilities such as jugs and access to running water,” Albornoz urged. In addition, to facilitate the participation of the disabled, contact numbers were enabled on the Facebook page of the Municipality of Campo Quijano, so that people with disabilities can reserve their place in this mega musical event.

Note: Tickets are already available on the PaseShow website and can also be purchased physically at the Campo Quijano municipality and other strategic points in the Lerma Valley and Salta capital.
