EPAS repaired the pipe that kept several neighborhoods in Neuquén without water and the service is back

This morning there was a water cut in Neuquén due to the breakage of an aqueduct. This was reported by the Provincial Water and Sanitation Entity (EPAS)which also indicated that there are several neighborhoods in Neuquén capital affected by the situation. The entity reported that the problem has been resolved.

According to the EPAS, the neighborhoods affected by the cutoff or drop in water supply pressure are Mariano Moreno, Urban Confluence, Sapere and surrounding areas. That is, the neighborhoods in the east of Neuquén.

The service will be normalized from approximately 9 p.m., since the replacement of 15 meters of pipe was successfully carried out.

The provincial body indicated that the aqueduct that had broken between Tronador and Aguado streets.

Work began in the morning and continued throughout the day. A significant excavation was required to reach the site of the break and repair it.

Residents were also asked to use the water supply responsibly until the repair is completed.
