The NGO Enseñá por Argentina has reopened its call for professionals from different areas to join its Collective Leadership Program. The invitation is to teach classes in vulnerable communities in different parts of the country and the focus is on generating an educational and social change in favor of equal opportunities.

This “Winter Edition” of the program will begin in August and will last a total of 18 months. During that time, the professionals who register will teach classes in institutions in vulnerable neighborhoods and will receive specialized training and support.

In Argentina, only 13% of adolescents finish high school on time. The foundation’s challenge is not only to teach, but also to provide innovative and transformative responses to generate change from the classrooms.

Enseña por Argentina has been working since 2009 bringing opportunities to different regions of the country and its program has already reached more than 15,000 educational institutions and more than 130,000 students. In addition, the NGO is part of Teach For All, a global movement dedicated to developing leadership in classrooms so that all children and young people can reach their full potential.

Registration is open until July 22 and can be done through the Teach for Argentina website. Photo: Teach for Argentina Facebook

The Collective Leadership Program involves classroom practices totaling 20 hours per week, as well as in-person and virtual training activities. It is aimed at young professionals who demonstrate potential and commitment to equity, and seek to become leaders of change.

From the first month of the program, all participants carry out teaching practices in the classroom and receive a financial incentive for those hours. In addition, those who do not have teaching experience will receive a scholarship to pursue teaching at a recognized university, adapted to the region where they reside.

In this edition, university professionals from CABA, San Isidro and Zárate can register. The deadline is July 22 and the registration can be done through the Enseñá por Argentina website.
