The Córdoba Acelera Agency launched Study Córdoba, an initiative that seeks to position Córdoba Capital as an academic destination for international students. The program presentation ceremony took place in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages ​​of the National University of Córdoba, in Ciudad Universitaria.

The Study Córdoba program is part of alliances with the city’s universities, to “present to the world the wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses, and their extension activities.”

The program will offer a benefits kit through Tarjeta Activa, where they will have access to benefits and discounts in shops, restaurants, cultural activities and more, provided by the private sector.

The information released by the Municipality of Córdoba details that “it will provide free 15-minute consultations with a bilingual team, to resolve doubts about life in the city, immigration procedures, accommodations and other practical or logistical aspects; and provides a digital document with key information and practical advice that makes it easier for international students to adapt.”

Fourth quarter

There will also be a series of activities to create a community of foreign students, where there will be opportunities to get to know each other and integrate, recreational and sports activities, learning spaces and opportunities for social volunteering.

Within this framework, two annual events will be held for all international students (April and October).

On the website, students will be able to view all the cultural activities, courses, workshops and outreach proposals organized by the different universities and academic institutions in the city.

This initiative seeks to generate greater economic activity through maintenance, tuition and tourism, improve the reputation and visibility of universities at an international level, and position and connect Córdoba Capital in the world.

In addition, the vice mayor, Javier Pretto, participated in the event; the president of Córdoba Acelera, Mariela Bercovich; the member of the Advisory Council of Córdoba Acelera, Mery Lunge; university authorities and the Government of Córdoba.
