The filming of the movie Superman (2025) continues and they have shared on social networks what several places that always appear in the comics will look like.
Who doesn’t know the Daily Planet newspaper and the small town Smallville? They are two emblematic DC Comics locations that cannot be missed in the Superman movie that will be released in 2025. Now a short video from the set of the movie that is being filmed James Gunn in Cleveland, Ohio, has been leaked online, revealing how this US city is transforming into Metropolis.
At first glance, the lettering on Daily Planet’s new logo is very similar to the classic comic book versions, but the iconic newspaper’s signature globe is missing. However, it will surely appear at the top of the skyscraper, although they will have to add it via CGI.

In other set news, the Superman movie recently filmed in LaGrange, Georgia, which was used as a double for the Kent farm and surrounding area. Although the shot reveals nothing more than a stunning forested horizon, James Gunn took to Instagram to share a new photo from the set.
So far, the only major reveal that has emerged from the set photos is a look at María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, but a few weeks ago we got our first official look at David Corenswet with the Superman suit. The image, which showed a battle-hardened Man of Steel strapping on his boots to face another potentially catastrophic threat to Metropolis, was well received, but some fans weren’t too impressed.
The Superman cast also includes Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho. Sara Sampaio will play Eve Teschmacher, Lex’s assistant and lover, while Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell will play Martha and Jonathan Kent. Wendell Pierce will play Perry White.
It should also be remembered that Milly Alcock’s Kara Zor-El will make her debut in the film before her own film, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. The plot has not yet been revealed, so we do not know exactly how these other superheroes will influence the story, but James Gunn has previously explained that Superman’s double life as Clark Kent and the Man of Steel will be explored in the film, suggesting that these characters will go from being their rivals to their “super friends.”
