At the Avant Premiere of the film Maria confessed how she prepared to voice the character of ‘Poppy’. Besides, He recounted how long before he had been practicing neutral Spanish to officially record the corresponding scenes of the children’s film.
“There was a very intense effort so that the voice did not sound like mine, it was tremendous because the truth is that the casting process was very nice. “I’ll give you a piece of information, there was an option for the character Poppy to have an Argentine accent,” Maria confessed.
Furthermore, he added: “I did the casting and one of the accents I did was with the Argentine accent and well that one didn’t work, we went with the neutral Spanish. The lady who took the casting for me was helping me, and then another man who was very professional.”
Finally, the Argentine singer commented: “Honestly, I only studied for two days, something chill, two days because they told me that it was very easy because I came from singing, as a girl I always liked to imitate singers, accents, in two days they told me that we were ready to record.”
